Welcome to the Friends of Berkeley School website
We are a group of friends and parents who strive to support and promote the well-being of our children and our school. We collaborate with both staff and parents to raise money to provide facilities, equipment and activities, which support the School and advance the education of the pupils.

We are a registered charity, which holds a number of benefits for us, including the ability to claim Gift Aid on all eligible donations. The sums of money we are able to reclaim each year tax year makes a bit difference, so it really is worthwhile Gift Aiding your donations whenever possible.
In addition to the many events that we arrange and support, the Friends of Berkeley School also operate a school uniform shop via the school office. This is predominantly a non-profit making activity to provide an easy and affordable option for purchasing the Berkeley school uniform.
The '100 Club' invites new members to join twice a year and shares out winnings on a
monthly basis. Monies raised from the '100 Club' help support the purchase of equipment for school.
A valuable supporting revenue stream for Friends of Berkeley is our affiliation with the SpendandRaise website. All visitors to our section of the website who make purchases from the listed retailers earn us valuable commission income whilst still benefiting from internet prices that are often lower than those available from the high street, and with the added benefit of being able to shop from the comfort of your own home. Various links have been included at the bottom of pages on this website for you to gain easy and direct access to the site, so take a look!
- Whilst the Friends of Berkeley School has a formal structure and responsibilities, we are a friendly and informal bunch of people, and you are ALL welcome to join our meetings and get involved in helping at our many fundraising events.
- All parents, relatives, friends and guardians of children at Berkeley School are automatically members of 'The Friends of Berkeley School' and are eligible to attend and/or vote at any of the Committee Meetings. These meetings are usually held at least once every term.
- An Annual General Meeting is held each October to receive the reports from the President, Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary(ies), and also for the election of officers.
